CALL FOR INDUSTRY FORUM PROPOSALS (PDF)
Proposals are welcome for forum topics that will be of interest to both technical and industrial members of the communications community. Each forum session will have a moderator and 4-5 speakers with technical and/or Industry expertise in the featured topical area. The duration of each forum is 120 minutes. Each Forum will have a Q&A discussion among the speakers and the audience at the end.
A proposal for a Forum session is a commitment to organize it if accepted. A proposal of two pages should include:
• Title for the proposed forum session
• Name, affiliation, and email address of the organizer
• An abstract of the session
• Suggested moderator for the panel session, if not the organizer
• Biography of suggested moderator
• Names, affiliations and brief introduction of the speakers intended to invite.

• Vehicular Networks, Telematics Applications and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
• Wireless Communications Technology Evolution and Services: Wireless broadband, LTE/4G, etc
Important Dates
• Proposal submission deadline: 15 May, 2011
• Acceptance notification: 15 May, 2011
• Deadline of presentation materials: 8 November, 2011
• Industry Forum dates: 6-8 December, 2011
All proposals are required to be submitted in PDF format via EDAS (http://edas.info/N10149 ), which requires the registration of the proposal first by the title, keywords, organizer’s name, and an abstract. Only complete proposals with all required information will be considered. Once a proposal is accepted, IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) will work with the speaker(s) on a contract, which defines the remuneration, copyright, cancellation policy, and so on.
